Step by step learning (do not worry if you do not know anything) :D
Before start watching the tutorials make sure to get familiarized with the pinout of the launchpad, different parts and different nicknames for the pins. By the end of this tutorials the user will understand most of the functions of energia, will get familiarized with how our launchpad works, binary language, hexadecimal, basic electrical engineering, C++, and much more. The user should also be able to create something physical using the MSP 430 without any external help. HAPPY CODING :)
PINOUT
Pin distribution in our launchpad and nicknames for each pin that energia can recognize.
Tutorial 1 (getting started):
Getting to know our launchpad and use the pre-loaded code, which detects the temperature of surroundings.
Tutorial 2 (LED's blink):
Hands-on our first code, make the launchpad blink in different ways, and explanation of what is energia and some prewritten functions.
Tutorial 3 (conditionals):
Making the LED's blink using conditionals (LED blink counter)
Tutorial 4 (Reading a button):
We learn how to control an input, in this case the button of our MSP 430 and also how to set variables in our code.
Tutorial 5 (analog signals):
In this video we will learn the difference between an analog signal and a digital signal, what is a potentiometer, how it works, how to turn it into a button, and how to send messages from the MSP430 to the computer.
TUTORIAL 6 (digital thermometer):
Using the temperature sensor integrated in the MSP 430 and communication capability between the MSP 430 and the computer, we are going to create a temperature reader.
tutorial 7 (Analog LED):
Back to blinking LED's but this time we will be adding a hint of analog, by making our led slowly fade and simulate a heartbeat.
